Here are 2 sites for you to visit
they might be able to assist you in messing a a peace of history.
I own a white EVO my self and the craziest thing I would do to it ia to turbo charge it.
http://www.lexusv8conversions.co.za/p/5 ... e-adaptors
https://www.4x4community.co.za/forum/sh ... 069&page=2
Look at the spec's on the 1uzfe and the 6G74 the 1uz is not the WOW in my eye's
I have ridden in a LWB with lexus V8 and one with &mgte must say the straight six was more bang for but hands down.

Please tell us this is no more than an Irish joke!
Putting a Toyota engine into an EVO!
There are a few members on this forum who would sacrifice a significant part of their anatomy to own an Evo!
Please don't do it!

And it is a manual one as well very nice drive goes like a beast, have given a A8 and jeep Wrangler hidings infront of menlyn in the past
Will never sell it though bussy with complete engine rebuild

Smokey. You claim there are only 10 legal EVO imports. I have to challenge you on this. A vehicle that is legally registered in this country is a legal import. There are at least 5 in Cape Town alone. Of which 3 are owned by the same person. I know this because I know all the owners. There are also two in Bloem, one on KZN and more in Jozi. One person in Botswana owns three as well.
There is a big difference between grey imports (which are imports outside of official distribution channels) and illegal imports (smuggling)
As a small aside, one of my sources who worked for MMC at the time says only 1 EVO was brought in by them, for rally purposes, a vehicle which had subsequently been written off.

This is my Pride and Joy. If I'm correct and Simon can tell me if I'm not, but this was the original Demo Car that was brought in by Mitsubishi Pretoria. Its now standing and needs an overhaul done on it. If anyone knows someone who can reignite please let me know.
Thanks
HI All

Re: Pejero evolution
Hi Everyone,
Fortunate enough to been able to buy a 1998 Pajero Evolution. Luckily I live in Botswana and was able to get my hands on one.
Need to bring it down to Gauteng however to have some work done on it.
Can anybody advise me of a top Garage that I can take it to .
thanks,
Paul
