I can do them both for sure...

Any one know the part numbers off hand??....no big problem...

Failing that I can just call a dealer....

:D
Just have your VIN number and give your local dealer a call. He'll find them in a minute or so.

As far as i know, both come in at under a R100.

Hey guys,

I know this is a old thread but, what were the changes you noticed by changing your tyres to 235/85 R16.
I recently bought a 2003 pajero gen 3 with that size tyre fitted and was not happy at all with the tyres, they made the car look funny esp as it is lifted by 2 inchs and the plastics were taken off.

My report is this though: I removed the steel rims (not sure why my GLS pajero had steel rims????) and fitted pajero sport rims 17" with 265/65 R17 tyres. I kept to the same brand as the old tyres were, but that was more a coincidence than anything. I had badly feathered tyre originally so raod noise was unbearable...

I have so far found the car to steer better, i now understand about the torque converter locking as it now seems to lock or whatever but have noticed a change in gearbox (yes I have the auto box) the road noise by far is less and i will report back on the fuel consumption changes but so far my car was shocking on fuel by only getting 7,5km/l to 8,1km/l (12,2l/100km to 13l/100km).
