Hi Everybody,
At last I am online again and got all login ussues sorted.
I would like to say a VERY THANK YOU ALL for all your SUPPORT, HELP, ADVICE, PATIANCE AND COMORADERIE when every thing went pearshaped during our trip in the mountains when my Pajero's starter packed up.
Having starter problems on an Autumatic transmission vhecle is hopefully the only dounfall of owning an Auto.
Once Japie de Jongh sorted the starter everything went plain sailing again all the way home to Pretoria.
I have learnt alot about towing a stranded Autmatic Pajero!

Hey Willem, welcome back. Glad the Pajero is sorted.

Roelf,
Daar was sprake van 'n oorslaap in die berg. Is it still a possibility?

Sorry, took the last 2-hours to translate. Always up for a camp-out. As long as dates work out. Probably find that some would like this & some prefer B&B / catered accommodation.cloyd wrote:Roelf,

Roelf, would it be feasible to have the two options - i.e. some overnight in die berg and some breakaway to the bustling metropolis of Barberton?
Andrew, I'm sure it is feasible. I imagine the bushcamers can take the easy road down and meet up with the larnies in town to start the trip.
The complication is for the evening braai, because that is likely to result in half the group having to 4x4 in the dark to get to bed.
Last year I debated the potential dates, and consensus was to keep end Sept. I recommend we stick to tradition.
Let's try and poll the concept of who wants to sleep where: in town or bushcamp on the mountain.
