Brakes
HI Gentlemen.

I just need some advise on work done on my Paj lwb 3.5

1. Is this a fair price? Which I think.

2. The Technician did not advise that he will fit the Ferodo brake pads. On previous occasions i heard that there is pros nd cons regarding Ferodo pads. Is it true? Shall I have it changed with something else? If so, what brand pads is suitable for my Pajero?
The FORUM input is always valuable to me.
Thanking you.
Cheers.

Re: Brakes
That looks OK pricewise I would think? It seems that all 4 wheels' brake pads were replaced plus new disks all round? Plus they changed the brake fluid. What was the caliper overhaul about? That seems expensive.

On Ferodo I can't comment. I think they are a well known brand so should be OK. I like original Mitsubishi as they are less prone to noise and brake dust, but I think Ferodo will probably work well enough on the brake department so I would leave as is for now.

Re: Brakes
Thank you Cats.

The cost look like reasonable.

Will keep the Ferodo disc pads until next time. I agree the original Mitsubishi pads is preferable the way to go.

The Technican explained ( over the phone ) that the calipers do not operate as they should. And the way forward was to have them overhauled. Not sure what the actual defects on the calipers.
What I can see is. They look like "brand new" and match the new rotating discs.
Once again thank you Cats.
