Brakes and discs for Pajero 2008 Gen IV 3.2 DiD LWB
I'm having to redo the front and rear discs on my Pajero. Decent ('known brands') front and rear disc pads seem to be available locally but the discs themselves, and the parking brake shoes, seem to be problematic.
Has anybody have any luck in finding locally available:
Front discs
Rear disc/drums
Rear parking break shoes?
One of the problems faced (on all fronts) is that some local sites list as "Pajero Gen IV" parts those that are for the SWB Pajero, which are different than those for the LWB, so one has to 'cross-check' with the equipment manufacturer.

The front discs (scored) and pads are a necessity as is are the rear parking brake shoes.

Pajero has just under 290,000 Km on it and was purchased second hand. I know that the brake discs have been skimmed at least once.
Rear discs themselves look fine (externally) but not sure what the condition is internally (where the brake shoes fit) so the rear disc might still be OK.
Otherwise the engine is still ticking over nicely :D

Thanks for any help provided.

Hi Tony

By now you probably have done everything.

Masterparts, call them with your VIN or Engine number and they will quote you. Just bought rear disc pads for R430.

Thanks Malcolm.
Yes, already bought the parts, front and rear pads, from Midas - ATE.
The front disks I believe are the same as for the Prado so easy to get. The rear ones were more problematic.
The parking brake shoes I had to get from Mitsubishi.
The ATE are somewhat 'hard' and braking isn't very rapid. Perhaps I should have gone for a 'softer' pad like Brembo but it was a matter of finding both front and rear pads from the same manufacturer.

Cheers, and thanks for your reply.
