Re: Introduce Yourself
Hi Guys

Thanks for the welcome! I'm a newbie to this scene and looking forward to taking part and also to tap the knowledge of all the wise men on this forum. I had browsed around a lot on the forum before I joined and have already found out a lot that I didn't know. I just received my first weekly newsletter and even there have found some valuable information - I think I said something about planning a trip to Botswana next year so I am absorbing all the info I can get! It's still a long way off but I believe in starting to plan (and booking - at this stage a very confusing aspect with all the changes that seem to have taken place recently!) early. Be assured that I will be posting a few questions about this and other aspects, soon.

Once again, thank you very much.

Re: Introduce Yourself
Hi Keenan
Glad to hear you are also off to Botswana next year. We are planning our trip in Jun 2011 and would like to kontact you once you get back to get some pointers on how it went. In the meantime can you advise me on how you did your bookings with all the privatisations of camps that have taken place. Could you make an overall booking cotacting The Parks and Reserves Reservations Offices in Gaferone/Maun or did you have to contact the "managers" of each camp individually? Our planned route will be; Rhino Santuary, Kubu Island, Baines Boababs in Nxai Park, Third bridge in Moremi, Savuti, Linyati, Ihaha in Chobe, Kasane and finally Nata lodge.
