I would like to announce I have now done my first 10 000 kms in my BIG RED lwb 3.5 v6 1997...no problems just the standard service...
now , I love my girl more and more ..and am grateful everyday and thank her.. ..coming from a RAV4 ..most people felt I down graded....I think I up graded...

maybe its a girl thing that I get all sentimental....but my Pajero is the only car for me now..no matter the her age.

And thank you to the Pajero owners club for making me so welcome..!!!

The RAV4 is a lovely car to negotiate our beloved potholes, and would have been nice if we had snow.

The Pajero is an off-roader. Low range gearing and (at least) centre difflock gives it abilities to go places where a RAV4 driver needs a helicopter.

So if your intention is to go off-road or overland, you've certainly upgraded.

The only "dirt-road" conditions most RAV's see is the part between the tarmac and the gate!

I am glad you are enjoying your car. Hope you let her loose off-road now and again?
