I have not even thought of them for the Pajero, use them on the Lux as the lux's stock brakes are not good enough for driving safely at 160 but the stock brakes on the Pajero has allways impressed me for being able to bring such a big mass to such a sudden stop. But their pads alone was almost double the price of Ferodo Premier on the Lux

In that case I will not use the stealers stuff then most probably ATE put into expensive boxes, I hate black powder on my rims at least with Ferrodo Premier (and the MecArms I currently have on the rims only gets covered in a light grey dust (almost transparent on the grey mags) and you can drive without washing for a month if you have too.

Have been running the new pads as per my post earlier for two weeks now and they are super, no black dust and the breakes are more quit when crawling forward at a robot or some place similar

Interesting topic this one. A few months ago I noticed a bit of a brake shudder and during a scheduled service the discs were skimmed. No new pads were fitted. The latest service done 3 days ago, i was advised that the discs needed skimming again and that new pads were required. I turned down the skimming bit but let them fit new pads and the brakes feel fine. I'm not keen on skimming the discs again because I think they will be getting too thin and will warp in five minutes again. Cost of the pads, front and rear, was R1100. I've made some enquiries from Power brake and they do front discs and pads only. So, I would suppose that I should buy new rear discs from the agents and fit the existing pads. New discs and pads from power Brake for the front and then the brakes should be good for another couple of Kms. My only reservation is having different pads on the two axles. Would there not be a change in braking efficiency or differences in braking action causing some handling anomalies?. All servicing and repairs have been done at the stealers due to the motor plan however, that has now run out and so my wallet will carry the burden from here on. So now I am obviously hoping to make only correct choices and decisions and never have a hiccup with my Pajero as a result of the actions I take regarding any servicing and repairs. (It never has hiccuped, even slightly, to date).
So, comments and opinions will be much appreciated.
