I ONLy replaced the rear diff oil and noises stopped. It was confirmed by dealers in Sandton and Northriding that the Mitsu LSD oil is the ONLY oil they use in all Gen3's.
I am not sure why other people does not have the same problem, but my problem is directly related to changing the oil. The dealers also advised m against use Castrol LSX (which is their version for LSD diff's)
I did not add any friction modifiers.

Hi Guys,
What does LSD stand for except hard drug
I have a 99 Blister Fender 3.5 and removed the diff the other day but with my limited knowledge just checked if all gears are looking good and not marks or uneven wear and put it back again.
I used Castrol 85/90 oil to fill up again. Correct oil????
I did not have any shudders before or funny noises.
Regards

The Blister came out with RDL (Rear Difflock) as opposed to LSD.
You will find this switch: here: When engaged, this yellow light comes on in the dash: Please read the manual on how / when to engage RDL.
