I took out the prop shaft, and is using the Gen1 Pajero whilst they try to fix the prop shaft.

(That's another story! VW sells only complete prop shafts. I had the centre bearing replaced with a Heath Robinson 'gyppo' version, but now there is a sporadic vibration. Sticky CV joint? No simple U-joints! It has to go back for checking)

(The Gen1 was loaned to others in need, and it came back with:
  • dead battery
  • no lights
  • no wipers
  • no AC
  • rear brake disk with 1mm deep gouges
  • no RHS driver's window
)
