This passed across my desktop this afternoon.. and I subsequently saw it on 4x4comm...
Good news perhaps but I think we need a long term answer from Imperial still.

Thanks Simon.
I suppose now the tug-'o-war will start between the dealers for those few parts that are dribbling onto our shores.
Cheers

I was also given this when I asked my contact at Mitsu to give us some official word on the parts situation. He is VERY excited about the whole Imperial thing and say that a huge amount has been invested by Imperial into the brand. Being in Gauteng he was also priviliged to be invited to the new parts storeroom that was prepared for the new stock to arrive. He reckons it is 4 rugbyfields size and the shelves alone cost R4 milion to put in. He reckon within the next three weeks or so most part problems will be sorted.
Don't know if you guys think I need to push to try and get an official commitment on timeline?

Just my 2c's worth.
if this letter was sent by Imperial shouldn't there be like a official Imperial signature attached

like you see with all there correspondance and even advertisements.

I think for our own peace of mind we should as a group still push for an answer...

How do we contribute in order to put pressure on them for an answer?

There is only one real way to put pressure on any business... take your money to the guy on the other side of the street - in this case the guy that sells a nice, white, low km, late model, air-suspended, VW Treg..!

I complained on Hellopeter and got my parts within a day... looks like they quick to fix their online reputational damage ... the other poor sods who complained there got their parts too....

Update:
The parts for the 90k service have arrived at the Mitsu dealer in Nelspruit - but for about R500 more than the quote.
My indi gets the car first thing Monday morning.
Hopefully the parts are all correct and that my little beast will be purring with new bits and juices by mid next week.
