One of my friends that is very clued up with Mitsubishi's ones struggled with a Pajero that would cut out and won't idle. He replaced the Exniter Unit. All was sorted.

The end of last year was a bit busy so I could not give you an update. After the auto electricians diagnosed the faulty cam sensor, their quote to replace it was too high so I paid them for the diagnosis and asked them to return the Pajero; my intention being to buy the sensor and have it replaced by someone else. The strange thing is that since I got the vehicle back from them, the pajero has been running fine (Without replacing the cam sensor) and I have done about 2700 km since then.
