My 2003 DiD has always been serviced by the book, although not always by a dealer.
At ~180K I had to replace the complete auto transmi$$ion because of a blockage in the cooler pipe.
Flushing sounds like a very inexpensive preventative measure to me.
Another point that may be of general interest.
The hoses going to cooler are not a single length. They are joined in the middle by metal tubes.
My mechanic recently spotted these metal tubes were almost rusted through from the outside. It was an inexpensive job that may have prevented another disaster. I live very close to the ocean and that probably increased the corrosion.
While waiting for the part I drove the vehicle with the cooler bypassed. It didn't take long for the transmission temperature warning light to come on.

I got price from agents for a filter R710.00
Is that the norm ?

Which filter are you referring to here? The engine oil filter or the auto box filter? I could imagine the auto gearbox filter being priced around there - also will be quite a bit of labour for that.

How much oil does the box take after a flush? Doing the same thing next week.

Hello All. I was just about to post a similar question. Die valk is going. To the dealers tomorrow for the exact same service. I phoned mitspro to get a second quote And they said they only do gearbox oils and not transfer case and differential oils. Phoned mitsu again to confirm and they said they replace all oils. Damn expensive service though!

Mitspro did my oils, all of them. I can't believe they said that about the transfer case and diffs.

Its apparently the difference between the ck/gen3 pajero and the bk/gen4 pajero. According to mitspro you dont need to replace all of the oils on the ck Pajero.
