Really annoying ...
Happened to me a while ago at South Coast.
Popped down to beach for one last swim before driving back to JHB.
Arrived back at my Outlander to find left front window broken, gps stolen ...
Drove back with a makeshift window ...

So PG autoglass can get windows at R4400 a side, lead time 3 weeks

but my excess is 20%. I say pay me out and I'll get second hand windows from Martin @ Parthunt. Insurance says they'll go to autoboyz instead and waive the excess. Autoboyz phone me now and say they can't source the windows because it is an import (it's a SAMCOR model)

So how can pG Autoglass source the windows, and Autoboyz cant?

Smells fishy.

So back to square one and the Insurance can pay me out with cash and I will get the work done.
