I see, Mossy is from UAE.
In the Middle East the Pajero is not provided normally with a Diesel engine, therefore they provide the regular 3.8 V6 (6G75) and a weaker engine.
Till some time ago it was the 3.0 (6G72), and then recently it's the 3.5 (6G74).
On a side note, i would like to ask how and where that mapping is done to the V6 engine?

Hi Guys.
I just took my car 1998 Pajero 3.5 limted edition 25k on clock for a suspension refreshment at Drive and Align in Tokai. The car handles beautifully like new again. After suspension repairs I took my car to Power Flow in Tokai for an inspection on my exhaust manifold.
The engine was recently rebuilt . A week after the built I start to hear a ticking noise coming from the exhaust manifolds area. To cut a long story short. After Power flow inspected the manifolds they found that I have a catalytic converter problem.
I told the Technician not to take this part out as yet, I need to be sure.
The car do have a bad odour coming from the exhaust.
Die storie is miskien al hol rug gery. But can anyone confirm is it ok to have this catalytic removed if it's broken or clogged up?
Or to replace the part which the agents want to charge me a arm and a leg.
If anyone can put my mind at ease I will really appreciate it.
Thanks.
In the meantime I'm going to replace and fit my new tires while I'm awaiting any feedback from the above matter.
Once again thank you Guys.

Hello 4x4Forums!
I have an Autoboss V30 diagnostic scanner. How do I map a 6G-74 GDI engine?
