My "mechanic" is actually not a Pajero specialist but has treated my last 2 Ppajeros (a SWB 3.2 gen3 and the present one , a LWB 3.2 Gen 4) with great care and on top he is also a Turbo specialist.
If the problem becomes too Pajero specific I obviously approach an alternative service provider but get advice from him first.
He has a workshop in Honeydew and the firm is called "ALPINE TURBO". The boss is ANDY BUSH and he can be contacted on a number on his website.
I am travelling currently and do not have all my specific phone numbers with me.

Hi to all to the Pajero fans (and lovers of course)
Since I opening my thoughts with regards to the wonderful machine, called Pajero, I am positively surprised by the number of readers and the replies by other members.
It again reinforced my belief in The Pajero and with 240.000 km (2008 model) on the clock, he/she/it runs like a Swiss sewing machine. I have no rattles or squeaks and the engine sounds beautiful. Most recently I picked up a sort of clanging noise from the left front suspension whenever driving away after a stop or going around a bend.
Since I needed to check my wheel alignment at HIQ I asked the mechanic to let me check my front suspension with the vehicle on the lift and BINGO, the front left control arm (Y-shaped assembly) whichi is fixed with 2 bolts and nuts had some movement because one nut was not tightened properly (maybe 2 or 3 mm play).
The nut was tightened (luckily the thread was not damaged) and no more "clanging" noise ...
I have no idea how a nut , holding / mounting a suspension part can become loose t ????????????????

Nevertheless , the problem was fixed and again it reveals the idiocy behind the lockdown of vehicle workshops for 5 weeks. Lucky I found an open HIQ and just in time.....but I had to complete 2 forms stating what the emergency repair entailed and my ID and phone numbers.....
