Yip. My wiper stalk was also trigger happy.

I'm sure a cable tie connected to the stalks and looped over the steering wheel will sort that out? ;D :D :D

Kurt,
I tried that, but it really didn't end well. I'm sure I misread your intructions. End result is I now drive a bakkie
PS: I managed to salvage the spare wheel lift plate, which is on its way to Gauteng as I type this. You'll be contacted during the next few days and then you can cable tie that onto your Pajero as well.

Posted on a related thread. New to the Pajero family (bought my 2009 3.8 GLS in Nov 15) and dash rattle was very worrisome. Kurt fixed my issue and dash rock solid - highly recommended and worth every cent.

Wow Morné, nothing beats a rattle free 3.8V6 (I can't find a little green faced, jealous mannetjie to put here)

I'm doing another dash tomorrow, this will be number 59 or 60 that John and I have done over the years. Looking forward to making another Paj owner happy with his/her vehicle :D

Hello gerbek1

I though I was one of the lucky one's who didn't need a dash fix. Last week end a trip to the Pilanesberg proved me wrong.
What does it take to have it done?
If this helps, I have access to cad / lasercut / folding / welding facilities.
( Hence the name)
While on the subject of fixes I recently done a gear box bash plate in alli, fitted well and has survived well. If needed we can a few.

Good day. I make the brackets and do the installation here in Lonehill. It takes about an hour to do and I charge R750. While I'm at it I also assist with other rattles and noises as much as I can. Let me know if you're interested.

PS - your bash plate in Alu sounds interesting, I would like to take a look if I may.

Another dash / rattle repair done today. What amazes me is all the missing white clips after the car has had aftermarket systems like a Parrot Bluetooth unit fitted. I literally had to replace 1 clip on each part that we removed from the dash. No wonder some cars rattle so much. Luckily I had some old clips lying around which I was able to superglue into place to help the client out.

PS - this 2009 has 301,800km on the clock with no issues
