You should add the following two items:
It makes a big difference to the "tightness" of the steering.

Hi 4e ,
I actually did change the pitman arm and idler- comes as a unit from mitsu. "just forgot to mention it. Have taken it for a test drive but have not done wheel alignment yet . So far it feels much better . I have adjusted the riding height according to the Heyns manual as specified to 21 mm from bump stop to rubber but now it feels a bit unstable on the one side . Will ahve it looked at tyre shop though.
Regards

Hi all
I think this thread has gone beyond its original intention.
If what you have done to your Pajero is likely to start a lengthy discussion, please do not post it here and rather start a new thread. We have several discussions already which warrant their own threads.

Hope picks come out as I had difficulty down loading.
Two weeks ago replaced suspension with Ironman Kit which was fitted at Autiquip in Alberton. (Great service) My suspension was shot to say the least with height measurements on all four wheels being fifferent and a height difference of 25mm between highest and lowest. Rear suspension was bottoming out all the time and at night approaching vehicles kept flashing. When the shocks were removed only one was reasonable the rest were finished. I suppose at 94,00Kn towing a heavy trailes I can't complain.
Opted for Ironman after reading this forum and a couple of others. In todays climate price played a big role, addded to that I dont do the extreme off road stuff, rock climbing ect.
Got 60mm lift in rear and 40mm in the front.
Of late breaks were no what the should be and wre suffering from fade when under load, so when they wrer busy on the suspension had agood look. Pads were ok only replaced about 15,00kk ago but a 10mm dark blue line around the middle of both front disks with small hairline cracks told me a story. (they had to go)
Opted for a Powerbrake kit details which I got off this forum. Their service was excellent from my first investigative call to final delivery.
Fitted the kit yesterday and what a difference. Brakes are a little spongy so I will bleed next weekend. Luckly I dont use to work.
On removing discs noticed some interesting blue dots on the inside of both discs. Can only assume that that is result of heat caused by excessively hard pads????????
Cant wait for Easter to get away and try her out.

Hi Virgilio
Congrats on the suspension and disks, I have exactly the same configuration of Ironman + Powerbrake. The Ironman kit is very hard in the beginning but settles nicely after a while. Don't forget about Clive's bedding in procedure once you've done enough initial km's on the new discs. Those old disks definitely look very dodgy!
