Was great joining you today. Sorry I had to leave early, but I still had some other commitments. Will post some pics tomorrow after I resized them.
En vir die paar Souties wat daar was, die meeste van ons was Afrikaanssprekend

Re: Member's GTG - 05/12/2010
To the organizers and fellow Pajero owners,
Thanks again for a superb day - everything went off very well and without mishaps (except dropping my s/s exhaust end

). I'm grateful to the person who "picked up after me".
I hope you all enjoyed the outing as much as I did, and that we should try to "routinely" organize similar events (maybe on a bi-monthly/quarterly basis).
My sincerest thanks to the "organizers and movers", who made the GTG possible. Your efforts can only galvanize the rest (myself included), to make a constructive effort, and to do "OUR" share. I'll avail myself, when present, to take as many photos of any event attended.
I feel all were made very welcome (SAFSARI & LANDBRUISER included). I also admit, the "little gremlin on the shoulder" was hoping a Pajero could have come to the "RESCUE"
My thanks also to the sponsor/s, who added that little "pudding" to the pleasant outing.
Till next GTG.
Nino 62 (aka: Achille)
Ps.....I'll be posting the photos taken, on the forum, as soon as enhanced.

Thanks to everyone that attended, even the troll and cruzer
It was nice to meet all the guys, and it was good to see the novices enjoy their vehicles. The Boomslang had it's teeth removed. I was speaking to a guy last night who did it in the rain and everyone who attempted it had to be winched out.
My co-pilot, Tomas had a great time.

As i said, it has it's teeth removed before we got there. It is relatively innocuous but required a second attempt from me because I got my line wrong. In the wet it becomes extremely slippery, and unfortunately once you're in you're in and you are forced to do the uphill climb. I would guess it's a 30% slope.
The trail is rated 2-4 with the 4 being when wet.
