Barberton Tie in the Dots 2014 - Upload your photos please
Hi All,

I have created a flickr group (Pajero Club 2014 Tie in the Dots) as a single location to which everyone can upload their photos from this great weekend.

Anyone can view the images. They will be here: Pajero Club 2014 Tie in the Dots flickr group album

For me to give you permission to upload images to that location, please PM (not in a forum message) me your email address with which you will log into the group flickr account and I will generate an invitation for you to join the flickr group. That will enable you to upload images there.

Images can be uploaded up to 6 at a time, but there is no daily limit.

Please restrict this to images taken either:
1. In preparation for this trip (eg Roelf could post some images of his route prep, or participants of their drive down to Barberton)
2. During this weekend at Barberton
3. During your return trip from Barberton

Looking forward to your PMs.

Thanks.
Stranger

Stranger, I hate to admit this.... but we missed you too and your warped sense of humour.

Re: Barberton Tie in the Dots 2014
Thanks for organizing the event again Roelf.

What was the outcome of Willem's Pajero in the end - was it the starter as we diagnosed?

PS: Why does the auto spell checker not know the word "Pajero" and flag it as incorrect on this forum of all places??

Willem's starter was diagnosed as faulty as we suspected and also some wires were burned inside due to the heat that you mentioned when we tried to get it going again. It was fixed by the hard working Barberton workshop for a reasonable amount and the Pajero was mobile again around 10:00 on the Saturday night again.

Willem has problems logging on to the forum so I am responding but dont have the exact details.

Roelf - might be a good idea to share the workshop details for future use somewhere?

Hi gents,
Yes, I think I'll touch base with Simon first, to make sure I don't get nabbed for free adverting.

Chris, who was Andrew's co-driver on the trip, happened to pick-up some pully trouble on his platkar commuter recently. We took it to same workshop and received very satisfying service again.

That chap does deserve a mention and a thumbs-up
Re: Barberton Tie in the Dots 2014
I have added some more photos to the link as supplied by Andrew a few posts back. I am sure there was more than 2 cameras there? Where are the rest?

I also added a timelaps video of part of the trip. It looks like we raced through the mountains- Dakar style
