Does anyone have a nice big pic of me going up that one hill? I know Simon was up on the corner with a camera, so was my eldest and some others. Laaitie missed to take a pic with the belly showing. I have access to a A0 plotter and need a new poster for my pub

I'm beginning to wonder where the proof is I was actually there  other than the fact that my snotplug is in Anton's tyre.

Hey Simon,
Its an air compressor, and did its job perfectly, saying its better than nothing sort of says its not quite rubbish but actually is, keep in mid you had 2 yourself, and as long as it works, its a decent piece of equipment for those of us who can't afford R2000+ for a compressor. ;) (obviously something I would have to re-look at if going on a solo expedition, where long term reliability comes into play, as you yourself realised) but as long as I'm off-roading with friends, its good enough, so please keep in mind were all different, so where you may be indifferent when/if someone badmouth's your equipment, others (myself included) do not appreciate the retort.

But that said...no hard feelings

Ned - My heat generator comment was in jest - no badmouthing intended... sadly I have also been the butt of compressor jokes. Hey you brought your own braai - I didn't. I was merely referring to the fact that one should have something... anything. If two of you are out on a jaunt and one of your compressors packs up and your mate thought he'd leave his behind because you have one, you could be in trouble.

Hell I even advocated a friend buy one exactly like yours because he (sadly) does so little offroading in his Pajero that it was not necessary to buy a big compressor.
