Fitted 5 Hankook Dynapro ATMs. Standard size 265/70/R16.

Yes, I know bigger tyres are cooler - but the auto already hunts too much at 120km/h
Yes, I know mud terrains are cooler - but I drive far too much tar.

Tyres are much quieter than the Bridgestones, however, the Bridgestones only started to become very noisy at the end with about 1-2 mm thread left.

Looking forward to the first off road trip.

Re: What have you done to your Pajero today?
I spent most of the afternoon under the rear bumper trying to repair the electrics of the tow coupling. Some plumber had a go before me and did some damage. Does anyone know the colour coding on the rear harness for the left rear indicator. The wiring changes clour in the harness and I don't want to take anymore apart.

Had the "old girl" worn decals removed and small dents / scratches removed .... also re-conditioned the turbo... :D :D
What a pleasure when small work/jobs done, and they bring satisfaction for the effort...... 8-)

Is that a new turbo? If so, is the performance back to "normal"
Safe driving!!!!

Re: What have you done to your Pajero today?
Serviced it myself for the first time. I haven't serviced a car since my student days, so it was interesting.

Took me all day for an oil change and replacing the spark plugs.
Removing that intake manifold is time consuming, especially as you need to keep track of the different lengths of bolts, sensor wires, vacuum tubes and cooling pipes. I put everything together and it started first time, no engine warning lights :D

Next time, it should take me about 2 hours for a spark plug change.

Cleaned the MAF sensor and all other sensors and connectors that I disconnected. Nothing was really dirty, which I reckon is a good sign. The shocking bit was to see how many bolts have been lost or stripped by previous people!

Now I'm enjoying a well-deserved cold one!
