What a wonderful weekend. The weather sure chucked a curveball, but the Pajero crowd is as unstoppable as their cars.
Late afternoon visibility was reduced to one car length and even then, the guys were keen to push on to get up the zig-zags to the mountain top. I unfortunately had to call it a day.
The company around the fire last night was absolutely awesome.
If ever there was a perfect "swansong" then the last TITD adventure was my "swansong".
A big thanks to all the Pajero owners who trekked to Barberton over the last five years. You guys (and girls) have created a memory that will go with me for many years.

Thanks Roelf for again organising the event, this the last one led by you as you are now supposedly going to do the pensioner thing in Western Cape. Good to see that there was a great turnout!
I missed this last event but my thoughts was with you guys the whole weekend. Must have been interesting with the rain up on the mountains.

Roelf the Legend! Epic epic epic, I can't believe I didn't do this before. I'm so glad I ended up going, it was great to learn about the history of the area and to meet new people. Roelf, your Pajero days may be over but your adventurous spirit will continue in your awesome Isuzu. Thank you for arranging this weekend, I am blessed to have gotten to know you. Until we meet again

The new baby is doing very well Roelf
also the titd fell on a school holiday weekend which is very busy on the highway,so i had two reasons i could not go.
We will certainly come stay at your place in paternoster
