This short post to close the loop.

The timing belt and pulleys and filters are all in and the motor is purring as per the script.

It took 2 months, but luckily it wasn't a breakdown.

Thanks for lending me an ear, it takes all the potential frustration away to know one is not alone.

Regards
Roelf

Roelf

Glad she is purring again.

What are your feelings on the ground level? Are the stock issues now resolved from a availability point of view or did time just sort of make the problem dissolve?

Cats,

I really don't know. Best is for us to keep posting on this forum when parts become a problem.

Cheers,
Roelf

I have created a new thread specifically for this purpose. I will then close this thread from further discussion

Hi guys

I'm new to this forum. I drive a '94 Pajero and loving it. My back door handle broke (or just a little piece inside the handle) and would like to know where I can get a second hand one.

Thanks Konrad

I have now been waiting 3 weeks for a Throttle Body. The delay is because the part must "come from overseas". And there I was thinking planes flew here from "overseas" every day (if not every hour). 3 weeks! Lucky the vehicle is still mobile and this is not a breakdown. Not really great service.
