Nismo,
I think the Gen4 DiD has this function. The commonrail motor measures the fuel being injected and can thus give you the consumption stats.

I will (in time) put a little statistical tool on top of it.
Please use the

The results are visible in

Hi Simon
I did exactly what you said we should not do. Litres/100km and not the other way around. How do I fix that?
Apologies.
Nick

Hi All
I have submitted a few articles recently, but somehow I feel that there is so much more information for us to share.
One of our biggest problem (and the reason why potential buyers stay away from the fabulous Pajero) is the availability of spares and the cost thereof. By nessesaty I have had to modify (and improve) my car to ensure reliability (I undertake and visit the remotest atreas in Southern Africa)
In Short my car has done 390,000 kms and I have done the following major repairs and mods:
Got rid of the dreaded dual mass flywheel, by splitting it, making a spacer between the two sections and bolting the whole lot together ...no more problems.
Complete engine overhaul by using AE spare (2days) at a fraction of the price and without the "sorry no stock"(8 weeks waiting period) ..new injectors the exact numbering etc ex Germany for 40% cheaper including postage
complete injector pump rebuild (in Pretoria) Complete Turbo rebuild @ Turboformance
I have replaced the hubs and disc's and each time I souced aftermarket parts (I have heard all the comments about using genuine parts, don't be fooled by the packaging)
I have fitted a dual battery system controlled by C-Teck in the engine compartment by moving it around, a 60 litre spare fuel tank is fitted in the Kiddy seat resess (these things inevitably end up in the attic anyhow)
Air suspention and a frontrunner roof rack complete a reliable and enjoyable genuine off roader ... just reutrned form a epic 2 week trip off road to C.T. and back, over 3000 kms on gravel.
Anyone who would like to know more about the mods, I have many pic's to share
