Re: Pajero Owners Club Gauteng meet SimonB 19May
OK

It seems that there is some interest finaly. After Kai and I reviewed the possible options in the area it was found that the closest registered 4x4 track is Kungwini 4x4 near Bronkhorstspruit dam http://www.4x4kungwini.co.za/kungwini.html. According to Google maps it is about an hours drive from the airport and 30 minutes from Pretoria. It was thus decided that this will be the venue! Payment is at the venue. Bring own refreshments and something to braai if you want, as well as some charcoal/wood. There is braai facilities.

Cost is R200.00 per vehicle.

Last time i was there Betty's rear bumper got torn at the towbar, and I'm still cleaning out some of that red dried mud they have there.
If we want to do the advance track we gonna need more time or go fast, then again, last time we waited for a prado to be recovered and then stubbornly going the same route again.

Sounds like a plan to put some faces to pseudonyms :D

90% chance I'll be there.

Can we bring non-Paj buddies or is this not an inter-breeding thing?

Cheers
Tom

I spoke to the trail owner and propose that we do the BASIC trail only. If there are guys that want to do the advanced one they can do this as well but it is slightly longer/further away from lapa, so will be on own time. Also as you mention risk of damage to vehicle is higher.
