OK, but, with my magic button pressed / activated, i can wheel spin 8-) (especially on gravel, you know, do the Jeremy Clarkson thing and drift a bit ;) ), and the Paj does its thing with no TC trying to counteract this.

Re: My Poor Pajero
Doesn't sound right. How is this going to help when you are crawling off-road?
Re: My Poor Pajero
Ahh, got another magic button. Some call it the moffie knoppie, the rear diff lock button.

Can still spin, but only as little or much as I want it too :ugeek:

I hear what you are saying, but with button pressed in I can spin tires if I want, in 4x2 or 4x4 mode. Easy. Without it, the TC decreases engine revs as soon as the tires spin (loose traction)

Re: My Poor Pajero
Kai, which Pajero have you got. Standard Pajeros , in most cases, do not have T/C and DL together.
Re: My Poor Pajero
Mine is a 2008 Gen 4.

When I got mine there were 4 others (all white) at the dealers lot. I got to choose one :ugeek: and took the only one that had a diff lock button and roof rails.

The others did not have a diff lock and two did not have roof rails either.

I must say, that I am now confused as to what "magic" button I have next to the steering wheel on the lhs, meaning if its a skid control one or TC. My memory though its traction control

Re: My Poor Pajero
That button is skid control. I wonder if your car's TC wasn't disabled(not installed) because of the difflock
Re: My Poor Pajero
My Paj is in springs at the moment visiting Allan Black... Will check it out and let you know when I get it back (sometime)

Re: My Poor Pajero
Did over 100,000Km (two sets, they only last about 50k Km) on the Duelers. Never had an issue. Went to BFG's after that and did a further 75,ooo Km on them.

Now on Hankook ATR's.
