Well done Ian.
So what was the hardest part for you?

Hi John
I think it was the drilling of the top two holes, into the metal bracket. As you know the angle is not great, and the first bit we used was maybe not the sharpest. After it got sharpened on a grindstone all went ok. We did come very close to the top of the dash, but it worked out ok.

Yes indeed, if you can organize 3 or 4 guys on one Saturday then I can shoot through ;D. Cost will be about R1000 per car to cover fuel and materials. ;D

Did my second dash fix in Cape Town yesterday, this time on an almost new vehicle with the Rockford touch screen. The owner initially only wanted the brackets, planning to fit them himself as he is technically inclined, but I suggested he might want to spend the extra money to get someone who knows how to open all the panels. After watching me dismantle, he said that he probably wouldn't have got past the air vents.
All went well, and I got my time down to 3 hours, which still included plenty of chatting.
Still have 3 sets of brackets in stock.
