We are considering it, BUT have just returned from Kruger NP, end of next week of to south and west Cape for 3 weeks then back for most of July then Namibia and Bots for 3 weeks. If we are still able and capable and the wheels can still turn, we shall be interested.

I still have a day job, so not as mobile as you. But I do have the Spirit of Africa to look forward to later this month

I'd be interested.

I am also going to suggest that you may want to post this on the Pajero Owners Club facebook group.

As much as I hate to say it, facebook is busy killing off forums all over the place..

Hi Guys, count me in for a GTG. It will be a first for us.
However, we do prefer the camping thing, either caravan or tent, whatever is viable.
Keep me posted.
Cheers

Hi Guys

thank you, I was thinking just for a minute this was going to be a bust.

Here are the booking details

https://www.tripadvisor.co.za/Hotel_Rev ... State.html

Thank you for your enquiry
We have an informal camping area with shady trees, green lawns and a modern ablution
Also an under roof lapa with braai facilities
For when it rains

We have 4x chalets that sleep 30 guests in total
2x units with a double bed, en-suite bathroom, kitchenette in each unit and a cottage that sleep 6. 1x double bed, 2x single beds and a bunker bed (this one is very open plan)
All the above is R350 per person per night

Then We have a rondawel with 2x single beds and the old Farm School with 4x single beds
Linen and towels included
These 2 places make use of ablution and communal kitchen in the lapa for shower and cooking

The 4x4 route is rated 4 out of 5 in difficulty
You can use a detour if you prefer not to go through the obstacles
The is one area where you can braai with a look out point but it is quite narrow- (not recommended for a large group)

Let me know if you would like to book
Kind regards

Stranger,
We are booked (two couples) in a chalet and deposit has been paid.
We'll arrive two days early to scout the area and look for old grave sites.
