I can't tell you more than what is in the thread.
We do have a factory wiring manual (700+ pages).
The electrical was done by my brother.
It was not easy.
A good sparky is required.
The whole wiring loom is required with all sensors, transponders etc.

(It was the most difficult part of the whole transplant)

Very nice conversion!
Do any of you guys in the family (or anyone else reading this) perhaps still have a Gen 1's 2.5TD engine lying around..? (or usable parts thereof)

The first generation Colt bakkies used the same engine, so if you search long and hard, you might just get one at a breaker.

(I sold mine as a unit, when I took it out).

Thanks, I believe so. Do you know what year model/s those Colts are? And any idea what the approx going rate is for a used motor?

I don't think R13500 is to much for a running 4D56, especially if it includes a good injector pump and turbo.

The second generation LDV were manufactured 1987–1996.
