Andre
Will you have a look for me this weekend at the Gen2 fender and rear bumper and see what it will cost?

Hi Andre!
If you have not been yet at the scrapyard, could you check for a original electrical aerial, headrests for jump seats, driver's exterior mirror complete
Thanks in anticipation
Kind regards
Aslam

Aslam,
Just so you know - Pajero headrests are scarce, but the Colt headrests fit onto the jumpseats like a glove.

Hi Simon
just a quick one.
Complete rear bumper for Gen 2 R1500 with a broken left light, bu the right one still OK.
Tonton
The headrests are there but they won't split them from the seats, I'm sure if you negotiate they might....
No aerial or mirror sorry.

Here's a pic of the Pajero's rear bumpers.
At City Deep 4x4 spares there 4 Gen 3 Pajero's two with their Rear diffs still intact, (i've got my eye on one of those..)Since my other opportunity did not come thru) They are all in different modes of stripping but still some really good parts available.
They then have 2 gen 2 3.5's which you could just about buy as is.

Was at Barnetts this morning and left somewhat disappointed.
There were 3 Gen2 LWB and a Gen2 SWB and 2 Gen3 SWB... pretty much completely stripped but a number of pieces including intact bumper plasticwork.
The Blister had its rear axle still but don't know if it had the locker or not.. no switches or anything.
There was a completely intact rear bumper stiffener which I am looking for but they wanted R850 for it

That's extortionate IMO. A new one is R1200.
Also what is annoying is in that in the process of stripping stuff out a large number of components get badly damaged which could have been sold.

Simon, do you mean that the switch is not on the dash anymore? If it is an SA spec LWB Blister, the rear diff should have a diff lock. Was it a 2.8 or 3.5 (ratios differ IIRC).

It was a 3.5... the dashboard had been stripped so saw no evidence of switches... the compressor was also missing (IIRC it lives under the rear seats)
If I had the cash I would have followed it up.
