Is that last spot still open? I would like to come and bring my daughter along. (Swambo is on a business trip that week.)I did parts of the trail on Saturday (10/03/2012) but some of the throttle-happy guys made it difficult to do all the obstacles.

Yep, it's still open, you're welcome to join.

If I remember correctly the farm stall only really got going after 0800. I would recommend getting there as soon as we could, the times on the first post should be fine, as the trail can take awhile. We took a bit of a dirt road back way to get there. Not to bad a drive, we could do this too if you guys are keen.
We were 15 cars I think and some of the obstacles can take awhile.
The silver pajero (Paje) waving with his front wheel would be me

did the trail last month.
It really is a nice trail, a mix of everything. Sometimes you get stuck and others not. Richard was kind enough to take us around, but towards the end (after 1400) we cut out a big section on top of the mountain so that we could end up at the dam for the braai. Was a great day. I hope we have weather like we had. The view from the top is amazing.

I did it on Saturday with another group. We cut out a huge part of the mountain because the group spent a lot of time on the obstacle course and the sandpit. It would be great to get to the top.

I will have to give up my place, reluctantly.
SWAMBO's birthday on 20 March and we're having a braai on the 21st (hired a jumping castle and everything).
Maybe next time.
Nico

Is it out off place to ask what your wife's age is?
