Better I stopped him and got his boss's number. Phoned him on the spot. It happened in front of nova Board in Nelspruit.

His boss will pay for the damage!!!

This was the closest I have ever come to inflict bodily harm on the road.

Hi Andre, not to be pedantic or anything, but if he (his business insurance) is paying, why not then just have it done through the dealers?

Yup, but its his drivers negligence, his fault, his bank account right?

Was there any further damage to the car, or only the mirror itself?

Luckily only the mirror. He'll be paying the R2885 if I don't get another one. But I am happy to look for a second hand one.

Any idea what an aerial cost one of those automatic ones I bent mine this morning trying to park under a tree wasn't watching  I think its going to be an expensive mistake.

Do we get discount at Mitsb in Durban road.

Thanks

ok this is going to be a tough one. I have searched high and low for the front windscreen rubber seal and rear window rubber seal for a 1985 Gen 1 Turbo wagon. I even found a site that gave me all manufacture details according to VIN No, but no luck on these seals. I desperately need them and would appreciate any help on locating either OEM ones or pirate/pattern parts
