Re: What have you done to your Pajero today?
I saw his post on Facebook and I was sure it was your Paj because I know your steering boots needed fixing. So can you confirm that the new boots will remove the metallic sounds you heard on severe corrugations?

Tuinvurk

That is very impressive improvements.

Good to hear your comments on Arnold is consistent with what a lot of other people has said. I might have to one day do the long trek out there to meet the man myself.

I doubt it... Remains a mystery. Will only be able to verify on heavy corrugated roads again...

Re: What have you done to your Pajero today?
Just completed a 5,650 KM trip over two weeks. Went from Gordons Bay to Ngwenya (Near Kruger Parks Crocodile Gate) then to Mabalingwe (near Bela Bela) and then to Gariep Dam and finally back to Gordons Bay. Paj ran like a dream. I appreciated the improved performance provided by installing a Dastek Chip. Loaded with 4 adults and lots of luggage, food and a few cases of wine and managed 11-12.5L per 100KM. Very happy. The Kruger park was stunning ans we saw an abundance of wildlife including the 'big 5' and a pack of endangered wild dogs. What a treat.

Re: What have you done to your Pajero today?
Had to visit a client near Rustenburg and finished a bit earlier than expected so decided to take the Maanhaarrand route back through Magaliesburg. Beautifull views and using some slow low range on the washed out rocks.

Food for the soul.

It is also called Breedtsnek pass.

Close to Mountain Sanctuary park. It is a public road but definately not advisable in low slung vehicles.
