Nah. He bought it new 2 years ago and did all the mods himself, except the ARB bumper.

Full OME upgrade, 35" BFG, 50mm body lift, rear bumper, Warn spots, free-flow stainless exhaust, sump guard, cattle rails, K&N filter and chip within 2 years on a brand new Landcruiser.

He just really needs to get out. He doesn't have to be in any of the photos!

Anyone got some club stickers / gels to bring to the GTG ??

I am hoping we will get some gel stickers made in time for the GTG. Should still be the same price as before (R30)

I'm new to the whole 'Organizing these things' so I'm not sure what the protocol is.

My opinions are as follows:

1) Since there's only 15 spots available for the trail, and we already have 13 spots taken (theres still 5 people I'm waiting to hear from, (these are: Koevoet, Hoffie, Gatiepie, Gazzad, and Waterbound) but I dont think We will, as their mailboxes seem to be full) If you can give them chance till Wednesday.
2) I don't myself see a problem having a Landcruizer there (We need experience recovering vehicles )
just kidding, I see it as an opportunity for a potential new Pajero owner

Venue: Klein Helderberg Plaas (please bring the Family)

Date: 5th December (Sunday) Please check in early, say 08h30 latest so you can pay for the route, and be ready to start at 09h00 sharp.
4x4 Route: 09h00 to 11h00 - we have no extra time on this, but should be more than enough (15 vehicles max)
Cost: R100 for the Two Oceans 4x4 Route
Braai: This will take place after the route, and into the afternoon, we have been given 7 adjoining venues for this with 2 Braais), so we'll need to bring our own equipment for extra braais, incl chairs and tables

So Far we have the following: (Please also let me know what recovery equipment you have/can provide, and what communication equipment you have / can provide.

1) Mcnoogle - Winch, snatch-block, D-shackles, Tow rope(not a snatch-rope), compressor & Tyre repair Kit.
2) Blister - three VHF Handhelds and VHF Car with mag aerial
3) ChrisB - 29MHz & 4 x 446 PMR's if needed or has similar (Zartek Pro-8 and 708) Strap, D-shackles etc
4) Nino62 - tow strap/s & d-shackles, airjack, radio , compressor & tyre rep kit....braai kit
5) Simon - have recovery equipment, 29meg on board, & 2 VHF handhelds
6) JBeeZ - have goodies, 29 meg on board, & 1 vhf handheld - just hope car is sorted by then
7) JDV - Snatch rope; std tow rope; 2 std shackles and 2 heavy duty
8) Rhino -
9) Jaco_N - Snatch rope with shackles, tow rope, 29 Mhz and handheld VHF.
10) Nico - Snatch rope 5m; pull strap 9m; bow shackles; puncture repair kit; compressor; VHF radio.
11) Colinken - got 2x snatch ropes, shackels, compressor, hi lift jack
12) Erik - 29 meg radio and recovery.
13) Anton - Basic recovery equipment.

Please be aware of the following points.

1) I have no experience of this trail - We need a leader for it, preferrably someone that knows the trail well.
Please let me know who will be able to handle this important job.(This person will be the Authority on any decisions made while on the trail)

2) Please... NO ALCOHOL TO BE CONSUMED BEFORE OR ON THE TRAIL.
There will be enough time afterwards to kuir at the braai.

3) Please, As I have mentioned,
CHECK IN EARLY, so that you can pay for the route, and drop off any extras (like braai's & tables, at the braai area BEFORE 09h00. We CANNOT start this route late, so we need to be on our way at 09h00 sharp.
