I found a Pajero at a dealer I want to buy, but would like to contact the previous owner. Now the dealer is not going to dish out this info to anyone - is there any person on this forum who works at a Mitsu dealer or know somebody who can help me regarding this please?

A quick chat with the previous owner to confirm the claimed condition of the car will suffice.

first look inside the service book for the details if that fails PM me the vin no. and registration no. and i'll make a few calls

Why not? The Mitsu dealer that we bought our Gen 3 from was only too happy to provide the contact details of the previous owner.

Agree with Gerrit here. I was invited to contact the previous owner before buying Pradog. I still haven't done so though, Pradog's condition was absolutely excellent! All I did was to replace the slightly yellowed headlamp bulbs and fill the petrol tank.

Spoke to the owner yesterday after approaching the dealer - no problems. I originally wanted to speak to the owner without informing anybody, that way I can get the story straight from the horses mouth, before it gets filtered. All seems to be ok thanks.
