My newly aquired LWB GLS came with Melvill & Moon Canvass seat covers. How do I clean them? Do you dry clean them? Machine wash? I think they might shrink if you use hot water.

I used to soak the covers in mild to cold water with a little bit of washing poweder overnight and then a quick hand wash, rinse and done!

Worked for me!

This is from the website of a Melville & Moon competitor, but suppose it will work for all canvas covers:
Maintenance: After driving for a while with seat covers on, re-adjust ladder locks.
Wipe marks/dirt off seat covers with a damp chamois.
Wash when necessary – cold water hand wash with mild soap solution.
N.B Ensure there is no bleach in the soapy solution
Do not aggressively scrub marks/stains. Rinse with cool water, line dry.
Just before dry, fit covers and leave vehicle in the sun with doors open. The cotton cover will shrink a little when they are washed, but will stretch back to full size when they are refitted.
So maybe just rinse them again and refit before they are completely dry ...

Thanks, that it what I did.

I am struggling a bit with how to connect the straps. The covers were not fitted when I got the vehicle from the seller. How does one thread the strap through the buckle so that it does not pull loose again? I am a bit impractical when it comes to these things.
