We are in the process of planning a trip to CKGR and wish to enter through Tsau Gate and drive through to Passarge Valley. Has anyone done this trip. We entend visiting the pans in the area and probably taking a few days - camp at Pipers pan and then return via Deception to Matsware gate. I understand permits are to be obtained and camp booking made in advance. We planning our trip for end August / beg September 2010. I understand there is a camp Kgokong on the passarge loop but is not shown on the T4A map. Has anybody visited this campsite. I also understand there may be a camp site at the Tsau Gate. Please confirm if any of you have travelled this route.
Our reason for choosing this route is due to the fact that Rakops no longer has any fuel and we are travelling from Maun down towards Ghanzi. It is also a route less travelled and challenging!!
