Where are the recovery points on a Gen3? if nothing how/where can I mount points on the front and back?
I think the std rear recover points are mounted where the tow bar it fitted. I have a towbar, so no rear recovery points.
If you have a towbar fitted that uses all the mounting points (I think there are a total of 6??), I believe it can be used for recoveries (not the tow ball, but the tow bar assembly). I might get some flak for mentioning towbar and recovery in the same sentence, but the according to what I have read, specifically for the Pajero heavy duty towbars, it is fine).
As for the front... the std recovery rings are very strong... see here:
