Is there anything one can do to fix a diff backlash? I hear that with my 3.2 DID only at pull away when warm. Does it harm the diff and what must I watch out for if it worsens? I appreciate all inputs thanks.

Are you sure it is not diff/gearbox or engine mountings?

I don't think its the mountings because its not a knocking sound, but rather grinding as when in difflock on a tight turn. The tech at garage said it is backlash from diff, but it sounds more from transfercase.
