RemoteLock Jamming.

Guys, I was shown this by a mate who has lost his Hilux Bakkie about a month ago to some affirmative shopping. Works like this:

You unlock your vehicle with the remote (have another "fixed frequency" remote ready (garage door/gate motor/house alarm remote)). Once your Mitsubishi is unlocked, depress a botton on the "other remote" - keeping the button depressed while you try and lock your Mitsu with its own remote - she does not lock! I've tried it on my Pajers and on a mate's Triton, neither locks.

This is apparently the scheme used at various Ultra Cities where people run into the Quick Shop and on their return find GPS/Cellphones/other valuables stolen without a trace of illegal entry! That is if your vehicle is still there!

We have tested it on various cars - Volvo, Seat & Audi still locks, Pajers/Triton/Fortuner does not!

Please be aware and ensure your vehicle is locked, if it does jam start looking around for guys sitting around in vehicles in the immediate area! Spread the news after you have tested it yourselves!

Cheers,
Bossie.
