At long last finished the 30mm body lift.
Fitted a 30mm spacer on each coil. and this is the result. Can't really see it, but you sure as heel notice it when you get in, and stop next to a Tuna.
Andre,
That is quite a lift.
Be carefull not to overload your roofrack when off-road - you centre of gravity is now somewhat further off the road-level.
Hope she gets you through those difficult spots!

Probably better. They're great to carry tent and fuel, but you don't want to mess with centre of gravity too much!AndreBenson wrote:Roof rack??? don't have one

I have to be honest.
i have now thrown her into every corner I could get and she feels just as good as before I did the lift.... if not a bit better....

OK - pray tell. Where did you get the spacers from? I am also somewhat of a lift addict so would be very interested!!!AndreBenson wrote:At long last finished the 30mm body lift.

Looking good Andre.
Would the spacers also work on my Gen2 Paj?
I'm looking to go 33" in the future.
Nico.

I definitely think it looks noticeable!
I think those spacers were from SA 4x4 Store? I remember chatting about this on another forum.
I assume it was only spring spacers, not shock spacers?
Are those tires stock size? 265/70/16?
Have you measured the height yet? I think my stock SWB Gen3 is around 505mm from centre of wheel to fender trim edge (front and back).

Hi Ghost
I don't see why not.
email Wilsom at sales@sa4x4store.co.za. I am sure he will be able to tell you or look into it and tell you.
I am extremely happy with their service and well just about everything else. Spacers was R1500 and fitment was R500.
Sure he will manufacture send down. It's an easy install. remove shock, fit shock to spacer, fit shock back to car. remove rear coil, fit spacer to coil and fit back to car..
sounds easier than it was though.
For R1500, bargain either way.
