Front Diff Lock - accidental deletion of Thread

Gents

It goes to show I must not do Moderator tasks from work

In moving Colin's Front Difflock thread to the Drivetrain Section I left a shadow topic in place. The problem, is in deleting the shadow topic I deleted the original topic as well. I am deeply embarrassed about it. The main problem with this forum software a delete is just that, a permanent delete.

We do have nightly backups but it is arduous task to restore. I will try do so tonight, but any responses on that thread today will have been lost.

Please accept my apologies and lets see what I can do to get as much of it as possible back.

Thanks

Simon,
One little slip-up? We forgive you and thanks for all the thousands of non-slip-ups.

Ok so we have retrieved the backup, and it's a functioning one (the first 5 posts in the thread are there), but I am having hassles merging the data into the production database as the software is throwing errors. I have the hosting provider looking at it for me.

I think Colin isn't speaking to me
