We often hear about Pajero's that has covered exceptionally high mileage - often with the same engine.
Let's keep a list of the top 20 members' cars in terms of distance covered (on the chassis). If yours is higher than one recorded, reply to the message, and I will update the first post.
When something changed (eg. new engine or 10000 extra km covered), also let us know.
(1 mile = 1,609km).

My engine is brand new but the chassis has done 265'000km
1993 Gen 2 LWB 3.0 V6 265'000km 257'800km (engine overheated, rebuilt and still going)

I think I have # 1 spot 1995 Gen2 LWB Petrol
Odometer = 341814.
original engine = 280000. Popped cylinder head gasket through stupidity. Spares to rebuild engine was more than the cost of a Jap runner. Jap engine was opened and the hone marks was visible in the cylinders, replaced oil & water pump as well as timing belt and tensioners (seems as if it is almost time to do it again )
Drive train still original but cvs have been replaced and suspension rubbers, springs & shocks uprated to OME (280k)
