K&N Air Filter
Hi Guys,

I am looking at the option of putting a K&N air filter in the box,
I had one in my polo and it worked great, (especially in the case of overlanding as theyre easy to clean and re-use)

My only issue is the Price, at around R740 at the K&N agents, is it really worth it.

I am more interested in what it will do for my engine/fuel performance than the actual maintenance, although that is also awesome (it comes with a 1,000,000 Mile guarantee)

Can anyone offer insights into this.

Re: K&N Air Filter
it is easy for the K&N to be oiled wrongly and that fouls the MAF. Now that's a pricey item.

I am yet to see significant gains on black and white from those filters. I personally think the standard papers flow just as good and filter better as most of the time the stock filters have a finer weave but larger surface area to offset the finer weave.

Been married for 4 years now,

Which actually reminds me, (we went to Hogsback on our honeymoon)

Its something I'd like to do again sometime, where in EC are you, I could swing by with those beers some time.

Unfortunately, (unbeleivably) the one thing my wife doesn't know is cars.
