Resonance on dirt roads
Hi

I hope someone can help.

I drive a 2005 3.2 DiD with about 134000 km on clock. I have had vehicle since new.

I have fitted Old Man Emu shocks about 30 000km ago and am very happy with them.

Priot to fitting the Old Man Emu's and also thereafter I experience a loud resonating sound when driving on bad dirt roads or corrugations. This was not experienced when the vehicle was newer.
It sounds as if the noise is generated by the body of the vehicle.

The noise is experienced whether the tyres are deflated or not and whether the vehicle is loaded or not. It is heard on all types of bad roads whether corrugated or not. Rumble strips on tar also tend to induce the noise.

Are there any rubber bushes or the like between chassis and body of the vehicle that could be worn out and that I can have checked?

Many thanks
