Outer cv spline count

I need to find out what the spline count is on the outer cv joints for my 2001 3.5 SWB Auto. Apparantly there are 3 variations available. Anybody counted/replaced theirs recently?

I took mine out and took it to the supplier. The moment you put the grease on it, you cannot return it.

Probably best to do it Jbeez' way.
There are so many derivatives of the cars, and often units stand over between years - so you may have a 2000 that was sold in 2001, or a batch that came with different parts than other batches.
For instance - a batch of SWB units arrived with dual battery systems installed...
