Good morning,
can someone please tell me where I can get the bushes for the lower control arms in the Cape region. Mitsubishi only sells the control arms with bushes at R2870 a piece.
Thanks
Harald

Hi Harald
I had mine sorted last year from Autoquip, CBD. I do think you could firstly give First Alignment Centre, Stikland (Johann) a try / quote first .
Great service and pricing.
Cheers & good luck

if you have a spare vehicle you can take one out and then go shop for a replacement part from different places.

Most steering specialists will either stock the bushes or manufacture them for you.
SWAMBO's Merc C-class had busted control arm bushes. The agents quoted something like R1800 ea for the 4 control arms.
Our local CV and steering shop manufactured and fitted new bushes for R1100 all inclusive!

Hi Achille,
thanks for your advice.
Johann also wants to replace the whole control arm - he says thet only the rear bushes can be replaced - however, he is 2,5k cheaper for both sides than the mechanics in Hermanus.
Now I am really confused - has anyone replaced the front bushes?
Any ideas? anyone?
Cheers
Harald

Does anyone know if someone on the Gauteng area can replace and/or manufacture the bushes for the lower control arm on the Gen3?
