Hi. I am a new member to the forum so maybe this has already been discussed, if so please bear with me.

What do i need to do to convert my '99 3.5 V6 from using leaded (LRP) to unleaded petrol? I am concerned about continued availability of LRP in future.

Thank you.

3.5 v6 can run on both. Just fill up with unleaded next time round. You may find a boost in performance and economy - I did on my 1992 3000 v6 :D

No "side effects"? How long did you use it before you sold?

Thanks for the help

As per my previous post the 99 3.5 should be run on unleaded anyway and not on LRP

Really,

You got better figures on unleaded - I think its time I tried that, did you still add 2 stroke at that time,
if you still had it now, being on unleaded would you still add 2 stroke?

in short

Fact : it burns away carbon deposits.
debatable : it adds lubricity to the fuel and cleans injectors
