Gen 2 hulp nodig asb

Ek soek raad op my 1997 SWB gen 2 asb.

Dit sal my baie help.

Dankie

Renier

What language? English, dutch, German, Portuguese or Zulu

I'll give it a go :D
I need advice on my 1997 SWB gen 2
As you would recall this is the vehicle that I bought for R 25 000 that needed some attention eg. a secondhand front diff. Most of the work has been completed, fitted the diff and serviced the drive shafts and have been driving it for the past 3 months without completing the project. One of the incomplete portions was the vacuum lines to the new front diff as I have never taken the vehicle off road and did not need 4x4 capability.
While trying to fit the tubing yesterday I noticed that there was more parts missing than previously anticipated. The two solenoids close to the air filter (blue and yellow dots) as well as the third solenoid against the firewall on the passenger side together with the associated metal tubing is non existent, it would seem as if the vehicle was involved in an accident ant these items were never replaced.

I compared this to my LWB and that is how I noticed the missing parts. I visited my Mitsu dealer today but they do not even have the solenoids listed on their computer.
Does any body have the correct terms for these solenoids or the part numbers for them? It would be a great help otherwise I have to start looking for second hand parts that is scarce, I doubt that I would be able to get it from the dealers.

Thank you

The solenoid valves with the blue and yellow dots that you are looking for is called "VALVE,FREEWHEEL CLUTCH CONTROL SOLENOID" part number"MB620532 ". I got this using WINCAPS (http://www.stealth316.com/2-wincaps.htm). Also have a look at the below links.

I am not sure if Mitsubishi SA use the same part numbers, maybe someone can comment on that.
